The Soloist Association supports chamber music associations and classical music festivals/concert series, as well as covering the production costs of classical CD releases.
Furthermore, support can be sought for study trips, masterclasses, further education at home and abroad, and – in specific cases – for deficit coverage.
Support can also be provided for auditions in connection with specific productions at home and abroad; applications for this must include documentation of substantial activity at a professional level.
Note: Principally, support is NOT provided for covering salaries/honoraria, for general auditions, or for musical productions/opera productions. Nor will applications for potentially self-financing, full orchestra productions/concert series with e.g. Mozart’s “Requiem”, Handel’s “Messiah”, Verdi’s “Requiem” or other similar masses/oratorios be accepted.
The application must, in accordance with formalities, include a single budget/account and a brief overview of the planned activities with specification of performers and repertoire. Fill out the application form and attach any relevant attachments as a single Word/Excel document or equivalent format. Note: If the application is prepared as a pdf file, this must be sent as an attached file to mail@solistforeningen.dk, with reference to the application submitted on this page.
We request that applications be limited to a maximum of 2 pages, without photos!
The application must be submitted no later than 8 days before the next board meeting – application deadlines are announced in connection with the announcement of upcoming grant meetings.
Unfortunately, the supplementary support has discontinued, see under Ensembles (in Danish).
